This entry was supposed to be for yesterday. I left it sitting on my drafts.
I tried to open my eyes today at 6 in the morning, Snooze.
I tried to open my eyes at 6:30. SNOOZE.
I ended getting up at 7:00am not because I want to, but because of the smell of Mary Jane infiltrating the bedroom window.
"Dear neighbor, what were you thinking?"
I am still mentally, physically, and emotionally affected by the calamity in my home country. The chaos, the hunger, the suffering of the people.
A typhoon just submerged nearly 1.4 Million Homes.
Death Toll: 243
Affected People: 2,254,915
"Oh, What happens now?
Another suitcase in another hall?
Where am I going to?"
If only we were responsible enough for what's given to us.
Seriously, what made us think that we can continue to take and take from our environment without contributing something in return?
People, not only are we going to lose our homes. We are going to lose our country if we keep doing what we're doing.
SMOKERS, please try to quit smoking. It would kill you. They wouldn't sell if you're not buying. Cigarette butt is the #1 pollutant of our environment
DRIVERS, don't just throw your shit outside your windows
RESIDENTS, make sure that you are registered with the waste collectors
GOVERNMENT, please stop using the people's money to fund your personal intentions and start saving them from the consequences of your actions. You are actually supposed to be role models
WORKERS, thank you
SHOPPERS, be wiser
CHILDREN, study harder. It will pay off when you grow up
PARENTS, stop making babies if you can't afford them, love your children; do not abuse them
SELF, be aware of the things that are going on around you. Everybody is counting on you. Do not let any negative feeling towards others (and vice versa) affect the way you live your life. Choices are given - you decide.
