IMAGINE THIS

Imagine how you felt the first time you saw the most spectacular sunset of your entire life,

Imagine what it's like to be peacefully sailing across the deep blue sea after an enraged storm,

Imagine your astonishment to the sight of a perfect rainbow in the middle of a concrete jungle,

Imagine the wind caressing your skin on a midsummer's day while sitting on top of a hill surrounded by tall trees,

Imagine that the first thing you see every morning is a smile across the most beautiful face you've ever seen,

Imagine what it feels like to witness a miracle each day,

This is by far the most accurate description I've ever given my recent experiences in life.

My New Year's Resolution is to keep my profound self-love and spread it to my loved ones.

HAPPY 2011!

Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area

It was the day before Christmas when my love and I decided to pay a visit to Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area (A giant park located in the southwestern district of Los Angeles). It's a ten minute drive from were we live so I was very delighted by the convenience and at the same time excited to see the inside of the park for the first time.

There's a $6.00 (cash only) admission fee at the entrance which gave me the impression that we're about to enter a maintained area. We drove past a lake that had ducks in variety of colors floating gracefully on the surface of the water while a few gentlemen looked busy on their fish poles. Picnic areas are well-scattered all throughout the park. We came to a stop shortly after reaching the topmost part of Kenneth Hahn. I would say that it probably was the area with the least visitors that day. Perfect. It gave us exactly what we needed in that moment, peace and quiet.

A view from the trail that we liked:
